6th Grade--Immigration 移民

-The nation's immigrant population (legal and illegal) reached a record of 37.9 million in 2007. 根據紀錄，美國現在有包括合法與非法總計三千七百九十萬人的移民。

-Immigrants account for one in eight U.S. residents. 在八個美國居民當中就有一個是移民

-Overall, nearly one in three immigrants is an illegal alien. Half of Mexican and Central American immigrants and one-third of South American immigrants are illegal. 而在所有的移民中，將近三分之一是非法移民。一半的墨西哥、中美洲移民和三分之一的南美洲移民都是不合法的。
